This journey illuminated that while clinical competence is essential, emotional intelligence comprising self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication is pivotal in shaping the patient and family experience.

Supported by a multidisciplinary background, Alan discovered that emotional intelligence significantly influences the success of healthcare professionals, including aspects of fulfillment and job satisfaction.
