J3P Health was founded on a personal mission.

Prior to establishing J3P Health, our Founder and CEO, Alan Friedman, M.A., underwent a transformative healthcare experience when his daughter Jules was born with complex medical needs. Discover how our personal experience shapes our professional work in our case studies. This journey illuminated that while clinical competence is essential, emotional intelligence—comprising self-awareness, empathy, and effective communication—is pivotal in shaping the patient and family experience.

Supported by a multidisciplinary advisory board, Alan discovered that emotional intelligence significantly influences the success of healthcare professionals, including aspects of fulfillment and job satisfaction.
