Hogan Assessment FAQs
-
The Hogan Assessment is a series of validated personality assessments designed to provide insight into an individual’s strengths, potential challenges, and core values as they relate to workplace performance and leadership effectiveness.
-
You will receive an email from J3P Health containing a direct link to the Hogan Assessment portal. The assessment consists of three sections: HPI (Hogan Personality Inventory), HDS (Hogan Development Survey), and MVPI (Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory).
Please make sure that you complete all three sections in order to finalize your assessment. -
The Hogan suite consists of three parts:
· HPI (Hogan Personality Inventory): Measures normal personality characteristics that describe how you typically relate to others. We refer to these as USUAL TENDENCIES
· HDS (Hogan Development Survey): Assesses potential derailers or risk factors that may emerge under stress. We refer to these as STRESS TENDENCIES.
· MVPI (Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory): Identifies your core drivers, values, and organizational culture fit. We refer to these as WHAT motivates you.
-
Once you have completed all assessment sections, your results are scored, J3P Health is automatically notified via email. Following completion, you will receive a link to schedule a debrief session with your leadership advisor. Your assessment reports will be provided to you several days prior to your scheduled debrief.
-
The assessment typically takes 45–60 minutes to complete. It is recommended that you work in a quiet, uninterrupted setting.
